From a literary theme ( ‘Wipe your glasses with what you know’ — James Joyce), this show explored the random and archeological nature of learning. Referencing rich and often obscure language confirms that art is a conversation that rarely connects with a single meaning. Some of the work would not stay in that esoteric starting point. The world intruded. Pieces speak to daily life and universal themes.
